It radiates a pleasant, even cozy warmth. It is of course not a substitute for heating – but it is enough to warm you up a little. Although they do not heat as much as a wood fireplace (heat output approx. 6-9kW): they also give off 2-3kW.
Clearly, with a classic fiery furnace you are tied to one place – if you are allowed to set one up at all. But with an ethanol fireplace: this is a whole new freedom with almost unlimited options. You can set it up almost anywhere, you don’t even have to pay attention to the connection to a chimney. And if you move or rearrange: it is absolutely flexible.
Operation is child’s play – even if it shouldn’t be left to the children, of course: just pour the liquid bioethanol into the combustion chamber, light it up, done. Within a few seconds you will have a uniquely beautiful fire in your room. And when you have had enough or want to go to sleep: simply close the safety drawer and the fire will go out.
In contrast to a wood fire, there are no toxins here when burned. It only emits water in gaseous form and a little carbon dioxide, in an amount that is absolutely harmless to humans. That is why the fireplaces are also called bio-fireplaces. The fuel is made from organic waste. Isn’t that great?
